Due to the unique experience of truffles, they have become very popular in recent years. What is commonly referred to as a Truffle is actually Sclerotia. Sclerotia are a collection of mycelial threads (fungal threads). These threads are located underground. A drop in temperature and increase in moisture creates an ideal climate for a mushroom to grow. If this climate is not yet ideal, the mycelium threads form Sclerotia (truffle) and absorb nutrients so that, when the climate is ideal, a mushroom can grow from them.

This prolonged gestation period results in a truffle with exceptional properties and a unique experiential profile.

Drawing inspiration from the Amanita Muscaria mushroom’s symbiotic relationship with birch trees, we have christened the SugaShrooms truffle with the Latin name Psilocybe Amanitea. This moniker serves as a testament to the truffle’s remarkable lineage, while also differentiating it from its wild counterpart.

Unlike the Amanita Muscaria, the SugaShrooms truffle boasts a wholesome composition enriched with the active substance psilocybin. This characteristic ensures both safety and the potential for a profoundly enriching and transformative experience.
